Asociacion de Cancer Infantil (in spanish):
The Construction of the Children’s Cancer Center was inaugurated last year, complete with state of the art flooring, ventilation, air filtration and was designed to international codes. It is located inside Tijuana’s General Hospital.
This is a low income hospital whose children suffering from cancer were dying because of lack of medication and proper medical equipment. Since their immune system is extremely low, and there is no way to isolate the children, they were placed in the general pediatric area where they catch infections and diseases from other sick children.
Today, there are hundreds of children receiving continuous treatment and benefiting from services that they would not receive otherwise. We hope to continue helping this hospital on specific day to day needs. |

Construction of the
Cancer Center
The Associacion de Cancer Infantil has been working on this project since 2003.
The construction of the building is complete, we need to raise money for the equipment and operational costs. |

Christmas Party
We participated in the once a year party held in the basement of the hospital. All kids forgot about thier illness and just enjoyed a great morning of excitement and love. There was a DJ, Face Painting, Balloons and lots of presents. |
